Kevin,

Congratulations, that is quite an accomplishment. Very tidy installation which was sure to take some serious time. Larry

More please Kevin.....

Great pictures Kevin. Did you just fabricate a one-off or did you by any chance tool up for a limited production run..... ? Where does the line start ;) ?

John,

Actually I made up two of them, one for me and one for at friend at work (he is now trying to figure out where to mount twin air horns). It was not all that difficult to make up just took some time. The pulley is a composit made up of the original altenator pulley and a machined steel v-belt pulley. I machined up a sleeve that is press fit into each of the pulleys to come up with the final one. The rest was made up of plain old flat stock. I picked up the pump at a local wrecking yard for $30. 00. The tank is mounted off of a couple peices of 2" angle iron under the front end of the bed. I'm going to machine up a couple of manifolds (one for the front and one for the rear) with quick connects to feed an air tool or what ever. The front one will also have a feed for the air horn.

Oh by the way I have a Denso altenator and my friend has a Boush.

Well here's a picture with the pump all mounted up. I added a belt guard which is a little hard to see but if you look close you can see it. I'm just waiting for the tubing to get here.
