Well guys I don't officially have a 12 second time slip yet but the truck is consistently running 13. 0s at 104 blowing the slicks away with only 1. 90 60ft times and spinning the 31-10. 50w Mickeys at each gear change. We are making a few suspension changes as well as a few other minor changes to leave under more boost(currently leaving at 12-15 psi)any more than that and the slicks spin on the starting line or push the front tires through the lights. Anyway there is a bright light at the end of the Ford Power Stroke performance tunnel, keep in mind the engine has been together over a year now with no mechanical problems. We are using very little propane to keep reliability but enough to help spool the turbo up. I am just running a little H2E at 42psi. We will have our changes made before Muncie so it should prove interesting.

Some will say I am just tooting my own horn but that's OK,I have worked very hard and long on this combination with absolute reliability, drivability and exceptional fuel mileage(26mpg at 75mph).

I expect to be in the low 12's before the year is out with a new BB single turbo Garrett is graciously building for me. For the twin turbo guys we will be trying out a twin BB setup in late July.

That's my boss. Talk about consistent, some say it has to run back to back runs to be varified for a certian time, well it ran back to back to back times that were within . 15 seconds of each other, that made him leave the track yesterday.

The truck is 5,900lbs by the way. :D

Why did they make him leave? I know 11. 99 & faster requires roll cage, but he should be fine in the 12's as is unless they are lookin for driveshaft loop?

It's got dual loops. :D You WERE on the right track. ;)

Yeah I think My budd's team was ther Mayhem Racing.

I'll Tell ya and I'll say it again The sound of a rip snortin' POWER MAKING powerstroke gives me goosebumps.

Impressive BUT... ... ... ... CC12v is running 12. 7 to 12. 9 with twins and a stock pump (per Joe Hellman) with a small increase in injector size. His truck also weights more (how much I'm don't know, his is a short bed, quad cab, automatic).

Not knocking "Snow white" just putting out some facts. Add some injectors and modify the pump and CC12v will be low 12's if he can get the tires to hold.

Don't know if CC12V will be in Muncie or not, but good luck to all Texans; Ford, Dodge or Chevy. Since the Diesel Innovations Truck is definently going (per his post) a personal good luck to David Lott and crew.

Jim,

What does Joe(cc12v) have to do with the fastest truck? Can you name a faster PowerStroke?

If you want to talk about fast Dodges, lets talk about JetPolit, or Christian Roth rom BD, or even my poppa Nowel. The difference between them and and CC12v is the same between CC12v and This truck..... actually, we'll see just how far of a gap there is between them at the next Clash race.

Twins against a single turbo? :p Besides, which truck looks better?

PSD Racing

Yup, David is really working hard on that PSD. Like the Texas Kid said, it's the fastest PSD we know of at this time.

You folks attending the event in Muncie this year will get to see the white truck. Some of you may see too much of it ;)

Hey I gave props where props are due... ... ... Last time I went over to the dark side (Diesel-Stop) there was mention of showing cc12v how a diesel is suppose to run????????;), or something along those lines. I don't post there (Diesel-Stop) because I don't have anything to add to their discussions.

I didn't knock David, and if I re-read my post I THINK I mention wishing him and his crew good luck in Muncie. I may have stepped out of bounds thinking others had read the above quote about "showing someone how a diesel is suppose to run", and I apologize for not clarifying that point. I am not attributing that quote to Mr. Lott, but it was in a thread about the upcoming Clash Races in which it was mentioned. Mr. Lott was taking part in that thread. Again, I am not attributing the above quote to David Lott or anyone at Diesel Innovations

Nowel and Jetpilot are definitely on the leading edge with the Dodges, and I meant no malice in not mentioning them. These guys (Nowell aka HVAC and JetPilot) are the modern day throw backs to the Sox & Martin ; Grumpy Jenkins of yesteryear. Maybe it's just us Houston / Texas guys who in the past heard how this truck "Snow White" (single cab 2wd???) was going to do this or that, and it came up short (DFW Dyno). I have not been to see it run at the track, and don't doubt it is doing everything as Diesel Innovations says. My hat is off to them.

I go by the premise that there is always someone faster, you just haven't met them yet. Just for grins check out hotrodgossip.com. As they say ... ... "It ain't braggin if you can do it... "

:D The extra turbo is to equalize the Cubic inch difference.

Who cares what it does on the dyno, when we can crank out the times we are!!! :D

I keep hearing about this truck that is owned by a guy in Clevlend Tx(just noth of us) who has a 12. 5 twin turbo Dodge, on street tires, but am yet to see it.

I don't disagree with the fact that there could be someone faster, and if that's the case, bring it to Muncie. :D The thing between CC12v, and Lott is just friendly. It is like wrestling, the smack talking LOOKS real, and is real TO A PONIT, but it's just for fun. ;)

Back to the fact of, we put some longer traction bars on, and some bigger slicks and wheels.

Andrew

You won't here a quarrel with me about the dyno issue!!!!!

Never heard of the guy from Cleveland, but that sounds suspect don't you think.

Talk to Joe (CC12V) about Muncie, I can't make it. Just to clarify, David Lott (Powerstroke Racer on The Diesel-Stop) made the statement "Show Joe (CC12V) the taillights... ..... "

Wrestling never has interested me, to much fluff

After re-reading the thread over at the Diesel-Stop about the upcoming Clash Race... ... ..... Looks like it is heating up rather well. Hope the bars and slicks help the bite... ... ... . It will need it :D

Cleveland Texas

Texas Kid, I know the guy you mentioned in Cleveland Texas. His name is Chip Wheeler. I'm in the process of sending him a O-ring tool.

Watchout, he's got a pretty good running truck!:)
