My son brought home his AR-15 last Thanksgiving and we took it out to the local gun club's 600 yd range. I put 6 shots in a 12 in group. 29 inches of drop at that range with that light of a round. Sunny with a light cross wind. Not bad for a guy who has not shot in competion since college, 40 years ago. Don't think my son was happy getting out shot by his old dad. These old eyes could not have even seen the target without the super scope he had mounted on the weapon.



Thank God for men who can shoot when it counts.

That's AWESOME. I watched the last part of that show. That segment was about a Canadian sniper who made a distance shot that set a record. It was AMAZING. I think the soldier's name is Rob Furlong and it was a 1. 5 mile shot. If you get a chance to see that show, watch it.
