would a 1942 10&#162 mercury head coin or 1935 $1. 00 silver certificate be worth anything?

bob, on the dime, if it is mint state, yes - or - if it is the variety that has the 2 stamped over the 1, then it would be worth alot in any comdition. Mint mark plays a role as well.



As far as the silver cert, If it is crisp uncirculated, I'd keep it, just cause they are cool. Otherwise, unless you have a rare signature combo, or a misprint, its' worth a dollar.

Rgamble, What do you collect... Type sets, or series. I collect Type sets, all in high grade. MS 60 or better, if I can find it.
