One quick question for ya!

I am in the process of putting my A727 back together and found the output shaft yoke has a groove worn in the seal area.



Should I be able to purchase a Speedi Sleeve for this with no problems and if so from whom, NAPA? I hate to put in a new seal and have it leak.

That would probably be a good fix, or you could reposition the lip seal deeper or maybe a little shallower to get the seal to run on a new surface. I would probably go with the speedy sleeve. I have had good luck the few times I have used one.



Was it leaking before the repair to the trans?

Surprisingly no, it was not leaking. Just wore a nice groove around the seal contact area.
