Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) One Ton Dually Differential Ratios Available

Does anyone have the ratios handy for the automatic 2WD second gen trucks?

the early 2nd gens were either 4:10 or a 3. 55 gear sets. I believe the later ones offerd a 3. 73, but I am not sure what year they were first available. Also, the dodge Automatics have a . 69 overdrive ratio. (according to my 94 factory service manual) P.

Only 3. 55's and 4. 10's are offered in the 2nd gen trucks.

The 3. 73's were not available until the 3rd gens, when DC chaged to AAM from Dana.

IF you go to http://www.drivetrain.com/dana80.html, you will find various gear ratios available for the dana 80 down to 3. 31 gear ratio.

Thanks guys, most helpful. Those new gear prices are strange, $404 for 3:54 or 4:10, but the 3:73 and 3:31 are $689! What cruise rpm/speed do you see with the 3:54 gears and the automatic overdrive transmission?
