Red Neck Amusement Park Ride (make your own fun)....

Monday morning heading back from the produce market On I-4 I see brake lights coming up ahead so turn up the radio, DJ from Tampa Station is warning drivers if they heading east to stay off I-4 someone jumped off overpass and was hit by vehilce(truck).

Customer who works secuity at college in Winter Park said she read it on the internet, but I can't find it and none of the Orlando new stations reported it. I"m sure it was on the news in Tampa it happend near Polk City. I believe the person jumped of the east side of the overpass but not sure. There was a wet spot on the highway in the right lane where they washed coolant or blood off the road.

Hope this doesn't become a trend!

Had a lady 10 years ago take a left from the east side of I-4 to the west side. Got hit by a semi and was killed. Troppers found a suicide note. That truck driver never drove again. Apparently the trucking company never offered him medical treatment (Mental).

Not sure what it's like in the U.S, but on this side of the border, the media gives little or no coverage on suicides. I think they don't won't to encourage it. The only time it gets some coverage is when it's a murder/suicide. When the media briefly reports "no foul play suspected" I know it's a suicide.

Years a go, I was watching the news before going to work, and the TV reported a fellow employee being killed on the job in another part of the country, details to follow. I was expecting to get a briefing at the pre-shift safety talk at work(normal proceedure), but nothing was mentioned. When I got home, there was no mention in the media of what happened. I later found out that the employee had comitted suicde at work. It's as if that person had never existed.
