Disconnected the turbo to drill and tap for my EGT probe, and I ended up poking a small hole in the rubber hose that connects the hard line on the turbo to the block.
Questions: Is it made of anything special? Seems almost like silicone, but if I can find a sutible replacement tomorrow like a piece of radiator hose or something would that be a bad idea until I can get a new one from the parts dept. ?
Is that hose under any pressure? The hole is very small so if it's not pressurized I could prolly get by with it until I can get a new one. I wouldn't think it is, as I believe it's just the oil drain for the turbo correct?
