this last weekend i killed the dowel pin on my truck (thanks Cooker and CPFF) while i was under there i couldnt help myself and opened the AFC housing to play. (215HP pump deal, fell through) i also took my starter out and replaced the contacts.

well to make a long story longer, I started noticing a vibration in the gas pedal and generally out of the front end. well last night my curiosity got the best of me and I popped the hood to take a look see. I found the vibration :D it was my 3D cell Maglite. it was wedged between the motor mount and the bottom of the brake master cylinder.

I left it under there, and lucky for me it wedged, instead of just falling out and me never seeing it again. LOL

“Live and learn” they say…BTW anyone have a 215 pump they want to sell?

Oo.

Yes, yes the 215 pump is a factory race pump. I just got back from pulling mine off the test stand after a re-build.

Holy cow, you would not believe how fast those graduated cylinders were filling on the test stand. It was something to see.

Even without full rack travel, the test stand was next to blowing up at 1000rpm.

I was/am amazed at how much these babies will pump.

I still have a ton of room to go as well. We were somewhat conservative on this set-up too.

Don~

Don are you getting ready to go to MM and show them how its done in Texas? Sounds like some serious HP getting applied.

John

Hey John, I wish I could. My wife is too close to popping our 4th kiddo out. She is due in May, but it looks like it may be a bit earlier than that.

At this point Im hoping to make it up to Tulsa to show the Okies that 12 valves are not dead yet.
