In order to install the block heater cord today it was easier to remove all the intake plumbing. I noticed that the crankcase vents to the inlet side of the turbo and upon further inspection I noticed a little oil residue on the turbine blades. It can't be a good thing pushing any oil residue through the intercooler. I got the idea of running the hose from the valve cover down below the frame and just capping off the connection on the intake. I see there are kits for doing this online which could be done cheaper. Is anyone utilizing open crankcase ventilation and if so does it throw a code?
