Open Exhaust

I know you guys have had some problems in the past with officers and perhaps the (vehicle) inspection sites with the open exhaust/muffler MIA.



I gotta tell you I dun went and did it. Yes, I removed a muffler from a school bus and installed my version of the "muffler elimination kit". And yep it PASSED HIGHWAY PATROL INSPECTION!! :--) Oo.

Great, now we're gonna have busses drag racing to school, neato! You better make up more of those "kits", all the drivers will be wanting them! Congrats,always good to put one over on the "man" :-laf

OK... here is the (true) story, amended version... ... .....



Muffler on a '99 model Bird rust's away. I told my assistant that I should simply remove said muffler and insert a (4") pipe in it's place. He said "It'll never pass inspection". I told him otherwise!



Besides that, I saved the school several hundred bucks and will apply that money(saved) towards items we really DO need. Like twins for my hot rod VE bus Oo.
