Hello
as I have a 99 ctd and my coolant temp rarely gets to 150 with out the cardboard trick. then it cycles at about 185
A buddy of mine just purchased a 2005 4x4 3500 ctd auto with 34000 miles and his truck heats up way quicker than mine and goes right up to 205 degrees it does cycle between 205 and 195ish so I would assume that the thermostat is doing what it supposed to do. is this the norm for this year of CTD.
the outside temp is around 30 degrees.
thanks in advance
