bought into the 6. 7 BS C&C. It literaly SUCKS oh yea it will pull the house so will a Ford and the creature comforts of Ford so much nicer.

I had to haul hay last year to feed my cattle due to drought conditions. When I started i was paying 1. 65 per gal of fuel. . 95 for off road when i stopped hauling in Jan of 08 $ 3. 78 gal . Bought fuel in the am at F/J 3. 27 again in the PM same place 3. 78 i spent 385. 00 one day in fuel.

my cattle prices are down feed way up fuel out of sight !!!!!!!!! Where do I go from here???

The Chinese, Indians,or Arabs don't give a damn about air polution but leave it to the tree hugging Americans that have to much time on their hands to **** it up.

I hope they can figure a way to raise their taxs so we can get bailed out and their gallon of milk goes to 10. 00 a gallon. Almost forgot cows produce methane gas better no get any milk.

Sorry you feel that way, maybe you'd find a more receptive audience for all that over on the "Found On Road Dead" forums. It amazes me every time I hear someone blatantly compare trucks solely on the terms of fuel economy without looking at all the other BS a person wants for free too. My 08 is 3 times the truck my 95 was, no way around it. It gets 19MPG hand calculated and the engine isn't even close to being broken in yet, I am happy with it because I was realistic about my expectations for it. Moving to the new truck meant taking a bit of a MPG hit over the 95, but I'm not going to go running home crying about it, I knew that it was going to be a trade off. Knowing that it helps, even a small bit, to clean up this place for our next generation of kids and TDR members doesn't feel all that bad either:rolleyes:

Here's a link to your nearest Furd dealer:

Apple Ford of Lynchburg VA. Used Cars New Cars For Lynchburg Roanoke Charlottesville VA & more. THE ONLY OFFICIAL SITE for Apple Ford of Lynchburg!

They are located on Lakeview Drive in Lynchburg.

Run right over to the Furd dealer and trade for a Furd. It will solve all of your problems. With a Furd in your driveway the price of beef will go up and the cost of fuel will decline sharply. A Furd will lower taxes and improve air pollution as well.

You and we will be much happier when you're driving a Furd.

Lynchburg

HA, HBARLOW.....

I don't think he is going to drive 500 miles to the Furd dealer in Lynchburg, VA when he lives in Lynchburg, TN...come on now. Don't you know where Jack Daniel's comes from, TN not VA. HA

Oops. I did read that his location was Lynchburg, TN but didn't notice that google pulled up VA instead. Oh well, a 500 mile error would not be very far for a submarine launched Trident missile.

And no, I confess, I didn't know where Jack Daniels is made and bottled. I've seen the ads in magazines but don't pay attention. I quit drinking long ago

I don't drink anymore either, I used to live about 15 minutes from the JD distillery in Lynchburg. Just picking at you is all.

I used to drink... I still do, but I used to, also... ba-dum-bum!!!

Ok, now I just forgot what this thread is all about...

Yeah, Harvey jumped on a post he started back in 08. :-laf

Guess his post count isn't high enough.

Newt

I hope you don't spend a lot of each day worrying about my post count.

I don't even know what it is - the least of my concerns.

I would say 14K posts puts you in the running for the title of Senior TDR Poster. Plus if you add $1. 79 you'll get a medium cup of coffee at Dunkin Donuts (AARP pricing!)!!

If there was such a thing as Senior TDR Poster and if the title included free coffee and donuts at a Dunkin Donuts I'd be more interested.

Oh, and by the way, AARP is a leftist organization which I will have nothing to do with. I've lined my trash can bottoms for years with their mailings. They might have offered free donuts but I don't know - never opened or read any of their trash.

That's one thing we agree on Harvey. They must still consider you a prospect as I don't get the mailings. :-laf
