Opinion on Aero Tanks

I recently read a few guys weren't too happy with the quality of their Aero Tank. They claimed bad service and bad construction. I had decided to go with the 60 gallon replacement tank, but would like some other input before going ahead.

It sounds the best for my needs:
1) 60 gallons is plenty for me (1000 mile range). 2) Keeping the spare tire in its original location. 3) Using the same filler neck and sender. 4)Aluminum construction.

Besides, they aren't any other choices out there that provide all this.

First, Aerotanks which mount under the vehicle are aluminized steel, NOT aluminum.

There have been past posts which have said their quality is not as good as Transfer Flow and some others. However, in my case, I want to utilize all the space underneath the vehicle for fuel tanks rather than take up precious bed space. So, I am planning on taking my chances with Aerotanks 60 gal stock replacement plus their 40 gal aft axle tank to get up to 100 gallon capacity. Their prices are much lower than others, and at the moment, they are the only one I've seen to offer a higher capacity stock replacement tank (although Transfer Flow is working on one). The bottom line is, if money is no object, Transfer Flow is top-notch out of the whole bunch. For those that don't mind skinned knuckles and possibly tweaking and fabricating things a bit and installing it yourself, Aerotanks is hard to beat for value.
