Hello everyone,

I know I'll get a wide variety of opinions on this topic, but here goes: The bombing bug has bitten & I'm contemplating my next move. I've got an ETH that is stock except for the Power Edge EZ that I installed over the weekend. I oredred the Westach (sp?) combo guage pkg from Geno's, and am contemplating an injector change. I don't want to go too agressive on the injectors because I know the clutch won't handle it and I'm not ready to change clutches at this time. For these reasons, I'm leaning towards the 275 RV injectors. I've got ~7k miles, the clutch is somoth as silk, and I'd really like to get at least 25K miles or so out of it if possible. I don't do a lot of pulling, probably 90% of all miles are empty or pulling a 17' bass boat, which for our trucks is esentially the same as empty. The "heavy" pulling is a ~12K equipment trailer. I drive conservatively and don't abuse the truck at all. My question is do you all think my clutch can handle the combination of the EZ and 275's?
I'd especially like to hear from others that have this combo. Has anyone bombed in this order? If so, how did the gains from the injectors compare with the box? Anyone dynoed an ETH with just an EZ then with ETH and 275's? Thanks for the help.

Well I am running that combo.
275's
EZ w/elbow
JRE exhaust
SPA dg-111

The clutch is fine so far but I do have a southbend waiting in the garage. I like the combo. I only had the EZ in for a day before the injectors. It was set (factory) on level 3 and I did not get the elbow in until the injectors. So I can not give a good comparison. I can say that with the injectors it smokes more than I was expecting, nothing like DD2's and 3's I have seen but it can draw some attention off the line. I have not towed anything serious with it since the mods. I have been running the EZ on level 2 and might go to level 1.

With the mods, summer fuel change, further break in (just passed 14K) I am seeing as much as a 7 mpg increase in fuel economy(calculated by hand not computer). Needless to say I am happy with a much faster truck that also costs less to run. IT is also very drivable.

That was long and rambling. I hope it addressed some of your questions.

Ted
