There are several deals with Line-X, they have 50. 00 off coupons and specials. I had mine done under the rail for 475. 00.

I love it, color is not fading much at all. If you scrub it out with a soft bristle brush watch your knuckles :D .

Had the flatbed deck and rear X-Lined for $250. Couldn't be happier. There are a couple of small wear spots where metal plates on the bottom of my topper shack has wore through - but I wouldn't expect different. As a matter of fact, this evening as I walked by the flatbed I was admiring how good the deck looks. Would do it again with no reservations.

Dang I had my short bed line-X over the rail, all the way to the crease, and the new xtra guard stuff, for 479.

The only gain of spray in liners are that they don't scratch, and offer protection from the elements. Those commercials that show cinder blocks being thrown into the back of a truck with a spray in liner never show the dents left from it.

My 99 had a well done Rhino liner almost 1/4" thick. When I dropped my tool box on the fender well it left a huge irreparable dent on the fender :{. So needless to say the 05 has a Dodge bed liner, I love it fits like a glove and you are able to drop cinder blocks and what ever else you want without damaging the bed.

Mac

I had a Line-X in my 98 and it was done by the Line-x Dealer in Chico Calif. It was a TOTAL MESS! The guy shouldnt be alloud to ever touch a truck! It was so thin you could see the red color of the truck through it. Also, it pealed very easy, only to see that the lazy jerk didnt even prep the bed. Anyone in the Chico Calif area BEWARE!!!! You can do the same quality job with a can of black Krylon. Also, LINE-X CORP REFUSED TO MAKE GOOD ON IT. :-{} They claimed each dealer was independednt. BS! My 04 had a drop in liner. I hated it because everything slid around in it and it killed my knees when I was on my knees inside the bed. Now, my 04. 5 was done really nice. Thick and kooks great! I guess Line-X has come a long way since 98. The only complaint was that the clown that owns the Line-X dealer in GRANTS PASS OREGON is a swell headed jerk that is so into himself! He lost a few of the screws in my tailgate and I was the one that had to go to Dodge to replace them. I can see that if I ever have to have any warranty work done in the future, this guy could give me trouble. His attitude really sucked. I must say, the job still looks great but he needs a better relationship with his "one time only" customers as I will never return when I buy another truck in the future.

I have had the Rhino liner for two years and except for some slight fading, where it is constantly in the sun, it has stood up to being loaded with block, stone, furniture... ..... you name it. I'll put it in my next truck for sure. The main difference between the two is hardness and flexibility. I wanted something a little softer and more flexible. If the job is not done correctly the ALL will peel and or look bad. Make sure you find someone who has been doing it a while, it will make all the difference. After that you just need to choose the characteristics of the coating that best meet your needs. Ignore the rest of the BS.

Had Rhino in my '98 gasser 1500, loved it, got it in this one, been alot of nets, chain, wood, steel, and iced shrimp come and go in those two trucks. As to fading color, I'm just not that particular about it in a work truck. The dog likes it alot better than the drop in liner.

'03 3500, flame red

However, I found out after looking under the Dodge bed liner that chucking, or hucking depending on your preference, firewood into a bed lined truck may result in dents in the wheel wells. Pounded them out and decided to leave the bed liner with the truck when I traded it in  ;)

Now I've never had that problem with the flatbed. :)

I've got a Line-X in my 04. 5 and I had one in my 97 gasser. I had a nice long gouge in my 97 from hauling scaffolding and the dealer didnt have a problem patching it. It looked a litte different for a few months until the colors evened out. My brother has Rhino in his F-350 and I think mine holds up much better than his.
