I have another post regarding 2500 vs 3500.
I just spoke to someone at Dave Smith.
2014 3500 Tradesman, 4x4, SRW, CC, S/B, Aisin
Customer Package 28A
Cold Weather Group
Chrome Appearance Group
Popular Equip Group
Smokers Group
DS spray in bed liner
After all rebates, $43,728. Add about $4k for Calif tax and reg, I'm looking at just under $48k OTD
What do you think?

That price seems decent, but I suggest getting Uconnect 5.0 because it includes the overhead console with map lights. Otherwise you only get a dim lamp at the back of the cab.

I was treated royally by DS.
I wish they'd open a store here.
It's good to hear DS is getting some in state competition though.

From advice from DDevers on my other post, I just contacted Dennisdillion Dodge in Caldwell, Id.
They had a similar truck to DS but with $2k more in options for $1500 less.
14 Tradesman 3500 4x4 s/b Aisin.
Both had Chrome and Appearance groups.
The options differences include:
U connect 5.0 $660 (thanks Joe)
5th wheel prep $400
Off road tires $200
Backup camera $200
Protection gp $50
CD player $195
Park sensor $250
Trailer brake $195
With my retired military rebate, sales price is right around $42,200 plus $299 DOC fee.
DS includes a spray in bedliner so I figure around $500 for that.
So, it looks like a better equipped truck with about $2k more options is about $700 less.
They also have a huge inventory, so I think I'll "swing by" Boise on my way from Iowa to LA. He also mentioned I may be surprised what they may give on trade??

I think you can expect 12K off MSRP at present, that's MSRP ( not MSRP plus dealer scotchguarding, etc etc....) My 2014 2500 Laramie was right at 61K MSRP, I paid 49K. This price was about 5K less than dealer's invoice so Dodge is providing a significant incentive, I assume. Some may do better but I think this was a pretty fair deal.

I have heard both good and bad about DS so I would give DD a chance. I also would rather get the bedliner myself and work with the installer to get the thickness I want instead of going for cheapest and ending up with a thin liner. The factory liner in my 2013 is only 1/10" thick.

I agree, Dodge doesn't have a spray in liner, they'll take your truck to the local Line X or Rhino dealer. Sometimes they get discounts from the them and pass that on to you otherwise, have it done yourself with your preferences. I just paid Line X $475(including tax) to do mine. I paid an extra 50 for the anti fade coating.
