Opinions Please.

Ok so this is gonna be a mini novel. After a few emails exchanged with Rip over at Sourceautomotive. biz we have discussed a few mod choices and I wanted to run this by some more experienced "bombers" than myself.



Ok, here goes. Mods to date are:



AFE Stage 2 Intake Kit

Banks Techni-cooler charge air kit w/intake also replaces tubes from turbo all the way to intake

Edge Juice w monitor

Full Flow, cat delete w/MBRP Muffler, all in the 4" Flavor.

FASS 95gph System????



Ok, I am debating seriously between the two following upgrades.



First: 40hp Injectors with a 62/14 Turbo and ATS Manifold (maybe 5" stacks)



Second: 100hp Injectors w 62/14 Turbo and ATS Manifold (maybe 5" stacks)



First mod is relatively easy, Second mod, to get the full advertised hp from the injectors I have to switch to a modded cp3. Here inlies the problem, I have just installed a new cp3 due to an idiot installed FASS. So do I just do the 40hp sticks which we all know will be replaced later or do I get the 100hp sticks and when I can get the cash up again go to the modded cp3 to see the real benefits? Either which way the turbo and manifold will be done. All I am waiting for is Rip to give me the price so I can make the order. And your opinions.

What about transmission?

I have a 6spd manual transmission. Sorry, I guess I should have stated that the truck is a 2004 DRW 3500 with the NV5600

Have you looked at the PDR cam? Might be worth a look. Search on here will find it.

Yeah, I have looked at a cam but that is not something I am comfy doing. I am going to be installing all of this except the injectors.

go with the 100hp injectors if your gonna put a turbo on to. but you might have to turn the edge down before you lose your clutch. be thinking of a spring dampened DD from SBC when you get this stuff done.

With the mods you are going to do I think I would look at a different fueling box/programmer than the Edge/Attitude. Maybe TST R49 with gauges or gauges and Smarty. You will have a lot more flexibility with fueling so you can tune specifically for your sticks and turbo. The Edge/Attitude is very good for lightly modded truck but not especially for moderate to heavily modded truck. Just my . 02.
