I was the one telling him he might have some problems with EGT's with the HX40, my thinking on this is in some of the really high altitudes and trying to gain speed on those shorty "S" turns the HX40 might not want to spool up very good. On the open streach of highway I know he would be fine. He tows around 7000lbs. Hence the thinking the PDR35 would spool very quickly and recover faster. He can always run with the comp box off, plus being an auto and here in kansas the truck might be funner to drive with the PDR35. With that said lets here from some of the guys that have changed from the PDR35 to the PDR40.
