I was the one telling him he might have some problems with EGT's with the HX40, my thinking on this is in some of the really high altitudes and trying to gain speed on those shorty "S" turns the HX40 might not want to spool up very good. On the open streach of highway I know he would be fine. He tows around 7000lbs. Hence the thinking the PDR35 would spool very quickly and recover faster. He can always run with the comp box off, plus being an auto and here in kansas the truck might be funner to drive with the PDR35. With that said lets here from some of the guys that have changed from the PDR35 to the PDR40.

I went from PDR35 to a B1 ... does that count? :)

I'll call you tommorrow... ..... cell phone been broke.

And Robin, I was just tossing out there if you decide to go a lil higher such as a Level III, ask me about mine.

Sure thing, Kat, I'll talk to John about it also, he's kinda my mentor on this bombing stuff. So... is his truck really faster than yours, I guess last year going to Vegas his pulled into town ahead of you?? Just a rumor, I'm told. ;)

Good point Snowman, this is the reason I posted this type of senareo, I dont have any expereance with the PDR40. I just want to make sure we get the right turbo on his truck. He doesnt tow all the time so I dont want it to have too much lag for when hes playing around town:D

You dont count Kat:rolleyes: your in a different league, plus the only thing you tow around is your carcuse;)
