Opnions on 3rd Gen Price?

I know, I normally hate seeing these posts, but I have to poll the experts if you do not mind.



I have two vehicles lined up right now and I am working on more dealers to see which dealer will give me the lowest price.



Do either of these sound reasonable?



Both are 2003 HO/6spd Quad Cab Long Bed 4wd but both have 150K miles and gooseneck hitches. They both have the midlevel interior and options. They both seem fairly clean and run well? One is silver and one Burgandy. One 3500 and one 2500.



One I have at 17900+fees.

One I have at 17500+fees.



Both are under what Nada guides and Kelly Blue Book states for the options and mileage.



What does the board think?

my buddy just sold his 03 ST quad cab lb 6spd with no power or interior options and 89k miles for 20k. sound's like a fair price off lots.

Two buddies of mine traded in 03s that were super clean. Both had 150k on them. One 4x4 6 speed 3500 srw the other a 2wd auto srw with leather. Both got around $15,500 allowed on trade. Both trucks headed to auction within 72 hours of trade.

Hmmm... if they are trading in at 15500, then I guess 17500 is not to bad. The dealer has to make some money I guess... :-laf



Some of the dealers do not even want to go down in the 17000 range, they just refuse when I talk with them and say they would be losing money...

I'd get the 3500 everything else being equal.
