Here is the spacer I made with a plastic hollow tube and a nut. Works good, but sounds like Optima is providing spacers now???

im running reds. the day i bought them i was talking to a guy and he told me adout the blue tops. i think they are also deep cycle. love the reds but wish i bought the blues. you'll be happy with any of the optimas. they rock

Believe it or not

I replaced the OEM batteries in my truck which were in it when i drove it off the lot in dec of 99. . replaced with Maxxlife 850cca and 1000ca batteries dec 04. . Not bad for oem batteries, but i may have got a lucky break on those 2 as that will probably never happen again

I agree with the shorter batteries the Maxxlife batteries are not as tall as OEM so had to crank down the holders a bit further but a cordless drill with nut attachment comes in real handy for that.

just installed 2 of the red tops yesterday. Spacer that came with the batteries worked on the driver side but not on the passenger side? Passenger side battery tray is narrower than the drivers side?? I put a piece of anti slip rubber under the passenger side and it fit perfect.

$200. 00 bucks form Costco

OEM batteries were 4 1/2 years old and still have 12. 79 & 12. 80 volts!!

Just installed RED TOPS in my '02,and "tested" them last weekend in 'DA U. P. They started the truck great at -10/-27 windchill without being plugged in!!
