Warning

Itried to buy to Blue top optima group 31 from Batteries are Us back on july 27th. Two days after they had gotten my order they had biiled my CC. Two weeks later and I still didn't have any batteries. After more long distance phone calls then I care to think about, and when I could actually talk to someone, all I got was excuses and the run around. They NEVER responded to numerous e-mails either so as of last week I turned it into my CC company to dispute it. Just a warning to anybody else thinking about doing business with them.

Just bought a set of Red Tops for my '99 last week. The OEM's lasted 4 years, 10 months in Las Vegas heat. Honestly don't know if heat or cold is worse on batteries. Here is the link to Optima web site. They show a dual purpose deep cycle/starting battery made for people who have the kick butt sterio systems. Not sure of price comparison though.
