A few might pop in here to report a few seal leakage problems with the injector pumps - undoubtedy true - that will occasionally occur due to assorted defects REGARDLESS of applied pressure on a vast cross-section of pumps - even some of the other older types.
It's just that PSI in the mid to upper teens, or with added pushers, 20's, is so easily obtained with inexpensive and readily available types like the Carters, it seems entirely adequate for the vast majority of us "normal" users - if it has been shown they ARE capable of much higher PSI without failure, that's a plus!
It's when PSI drops down much lower than 10 that it seems prudent to start paying close attention to the fuel system...
