I am currently running the standard 235-85 R16 on the stock rims and was wondering if these rims are wide enough to run 265-75 R16 on them?I looked at some 265-75 R16 tires today and found out they are load range E and they also stand up slightly taller which i like. Also, would these tires ride a little softer and handle better at the same air pressure than the 235,s if anyone has tried them?

If you have enough clearance under your fenderwells- some front ends sit lower than others- go for them. I have run with them on 4x4s several times. I have seen a few sigs that list 265s on 2wds. If your front end sags a little, check your clearance turning befroe putting down the change.

I recently put a set of Yoko H/T-S 265/75-16 on my stock rims.

I put on D range tires and they give a little softer ride than the Es.

I have 55 psi in them .

The truck handles great with them and they DO fill up the fender wells.

The 265s are the same height as the 235/85s that were on the truck previously... that's why I went with that size.
