My truck has 4. 10s which is great for torque but bad for fuel economy.

What are some ways that I can lower the gearing a bit? I could run 315 tires and that would get me close. Could also swap out ring and pinions, but thats 600 in parts alone. Gear spiltters look to be about 1500+. Any other options out there?

Anyone selling 17" rims? Factory steels are ok. =)

Another opinion that you maynot have thought about is a trade with another member. I made a deal with a gent out of New Mexico. He and I are going to get together and trade everything but brakes. He'll end up with my 3. 54s and I'll end up with his 4. 10s. Unfortunately for you there are more guys looking to get rid of the 4. 10s than get them. As I drive about 60 max and I'm loaded most all the time the 4. 10 will be advantages to me.
