Thanks, TDR Staff

controller with stock auto ?

who makes mufflers like this.....?????

2002 3500 auto 14k miles, now K&N air filter in stock box, AN-6 fuel lines, stock LP repositioned by tank, gauges (B&PreEGT, FP pre&post filter, transmission temp hot line&pan), one way check valve removed, Mag-Hytec DD transmission pan&diff, Syn in diff.

I HIGHLY value the advice here. I searched the forums and was not able to draw the conclusions I need.

I want about 400hp to tow 14k RV full time in 2007. I need to apread it out over 3 years.

The list of what I want to do: DTT V/b, T/C, Smart Controller, Billet Input Shaft &Hub, 4" exhaust, DD3, PE Comp (can be run without VP wire for a while ie as an EZ), Piers HX40, US Gear D-Celerator, aFe Mega Cannon.

I would like to get started but in what order?

4" exhaust, Piers HX40, aFe Mega cannon in first year. PE Comp in level 1, DTT upgrades in second year. DD3's, D-Celerator in third year.

Is the sequence right?

THANKS for your ideas and advice,

Bob Weis

If it were me and I was sure that I was going to keep the truck forever I'd trot right off to get the trans. upgraded first. The longer the stock one runs the more it'll wear, and wear translates directly into dollars at rebuild time.

If I were doing the list.....

year 1... 4" exh, AFE mega cannon, and DTT "stuff"

year 2... US Gear D celerator, and comp w/o pump wire tap

year 3... DD'3, HX40, hook-up pump wire.

J/M Opinion.

I respectfully submit that I would do it in a different order. I would start with: #1 Scotty II, Valve Body, Comp w/o wire and 4" exhaust (around $1800 total) . Goto www.sourceautomotive.biz and look at Rip's package deals. #2 Next, aftermarket Torque Converter, and DD2's (around $1850 total) #3 Then, DTT transmission upgrade (not so sure you need a billet shaft), PacBrake (if indeed you are gonna put on a HX40 be sure you get a remote exhaust brake, not a turbo mount), AutoLoc, PDR HX40 and hookup pump wire (around $3350 total). Or, just take a 2nd out on your house and let it all rip now. You only go around once in life!

Roger

PS. Don't forget to upgrade your fuel delivery system, banjos or whatever.
