:) :D :) Anybody know anything about order status codes? Talked with the dealer and my truck is :

D1 gateline schedule - scheduled to be built.

They tell me the scheduled date is 10/26 which just happens to be tomorrow:D :D :D Yippee

Anyway just wondering if there is an average time after that until the dealer sees it? Or is it just one of those things that I just have to keep following up on by using the info on dogderam.org site and dealers info? Any info that you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Keep calling the DC number for an update. When they tell you it has shipped, ask which railroad and car number. You can then track the car from it's departure to arrival on the internet.

Ours was built in Saltillo, Mexico on August 1, 2001. We took delivery on August 15th. Seemed like forever! :D

I ordered two trucks from Dodge and they both came from Mexico. The first one took six weeks from the day I ordered to the day I got it. The second, my 02 Cummins, took only five weeks to go from Mexico to CT. The 02 was supposed to be built the last week of Sept. but it was built and shipped by Sept. 13th.

Good News

:D Well called dealer yesterday for an update and tried to get the VIN number so I could follow up on the truck and to my surprise he tells me truck has been built and on its way they are expecting to see it this week. :D I was hoping to get the VIN number but they said they didn't have it ??? The only problem is don't know when I'll get out to pick it up. Not soon enough for me:( but I have too much going on for the next 2 - 3 weeks due to prior commitments and dealer telling me they probably wouldn't see it for another 45 to 60 days. Such is life. I guess that means it will stay new longer right?
