ordered 04.5 today

I know this is beat to death, but really nervous about new truck. I am getting a slt reg. cab 4x4 ho with 6 speed and 3. 73 gears. Anybody with this combo in 04. 5? wondering about mileage as it is a daily driver. my 98 12valve averages 18. 5 year round. any comments ar suggestions. thanks

I'm only getting about 16, but hopefully will get a little better when it breaks in-only about 1500 miles now. Mine is 6sp, but 2wd.



I beleive klenger and bish777 both had 4wd, and were getting a little better on their respective long treks home...

My average to date with 1,553 miles is 15. 9, with about 70 miles of that towing. It's really too early to tell what the long term milage will be, but I sure like the truck. See sig for details.
