RV Unfreindly

Yesterday we ordered a 3500 SLT, DRW, G56, Big Horn edition. Anyone else got one yet? Am towing a 34' HitchHiker(14K) 5er right now with a 99 3500 DRW. Pretty exciting, but have to wait till Oct. for delivery.

Congratulation on you future new ride.

Maybe a good idea to buy the extended warranty because Dodge is now only giving you a 36k miles and 36 month warranty. Whatever price they first give you, you may be able to negotiation them to half that price, or at least get them as far down as you can.

Thanks for the advice. I'd heard the warranty had dropped down this year. Ya know, there wasn't a word mentioned about warranty! I wonder why??

Sounds nice! Join Farm Bureau, and you can save yourself another $500! They mail you a check. You need to be a member for 30 days before you settle up on your new truck! Congradulations!!!

A couple sales people at different dealers suggested it and I didn't know what it was all about. Does DC reimburse the Farm Bureau? I'll look into it tomorrow. Guess you don't have to be a farmer? ;) Thanks for the suggestion. I'll let you know.

Yes they should take the discount at purchase... I did it but I did the business discount instead. Why didn't you take one off dealer stock and get the huge discounts currently being offered?

The dealer had 3 in stock, but none were 3500 or dually... . what I need for pulling our trailer. We got a discount, but nothing about employee discounts. Talked to 4 dealers & they were all within $300. The deal isn't all done, as we have to add on an exhaust brake which they didn't have a final price on from DC.

What you will get is a "certificate" from the Farm Bureau. You sign it over to the dealer, at delivery... . ;)
