I ordered a skyjacker 2in lift for my truck today. Anybody run into problems or needed other parts than what came with the kit. I'm having an off road shop install it. I'm also switching the steering shaft at the same time. any tips? precautions? thanks, alonzo

I just put a 4 inch kit on with rear springs, had a problem with the rear spring bushings, no problems with the front. If you are putting on a Borgeson shaft you should also get the adjustable Superlift drag link if you don't already have it.

Ride is MUCH better now.

thanks, its new front springs with an addaleaf in the rear end. How does the adjustable drag link help on the borgeson shaft? its getting ordered in the morning.

are the 2" and 4" both spring only, no blocks on the front? what is your clearance between the bumpstop and axle with the 4"?

You need the adjustable drag link to center your steering wheel. Also make sure that when the shop installs the borgeson shaft that they tie the steering wheel down. If the steering wheel spins to far it will ruin the clock spring inside, $150 and couple hours labor. Tell us how it turns out.
