Ordered truck Feb.22 and won't be here

Until May2 It says?How do you track the unit at home I have the order number and the Vin. The truck Is IN Mexico where It was built Saltillo Assembly Plant. then goes toLaredo,TX then to Salem,IL, then Buffalo NY,then to dealer May 2 I hope? :{ Hope my wife like It. All she does Is ***** about the six speed manuel In my truck now. It does shift very hard. She won't drive It any more. :-{} I have park It In the garage and that where It sits.

Funny I would have thought it would have come from Saltillo by boat to baltimore and then up from there, most east coast trucks come that way. Where did you get the other info?

The dealer gave me a print out sheet from his computer. I just printed what It says. Maybe the darn thing afraid of water?

I ordered mine January 28th and finally took delivery last Friday afternoon. It is a slow and frustrating process but worth it. I'm pleased with the truck.

Ordered October 21, they built it Dec 12, I took delivery March 5th. the wait sucks, but it was worth it getting what I wanted.

So I guess I may be in the same boat as you guy's. :{ I just ordered my truck on 5/12 and was told it went to D status on 5/18, now just waiting for D1 status and a VIN. I was also told it may be one of the last trucks being built as an 06.



I guess it might show up around 11/23, at least that is a good date too give thanks. :-laf

Ouch the order has gotten really long. I ordered my 96 Thansgiving 95 (I think it was Friday after but may have been the Wed before Thansgiving) and had it for New Years. My 03 I ordered last week of May realized I had made a mistake (SRW long bed Quad Cab was available, website said it wasn't at the time) and talked to dealer 3 weeks later (June 18)and it was in transit already but as it was a sellable truck they allowed me to take an in-stock model (I didn't get side curtain airbags which is why I had ordered truck) and apply my deposit to it or lose deposit and order an 04, I took the in stock unit and saw "my truck" get delivered the day I picked up plates.

I ordered my truck on april 24th, and I received an order number and Vin 3 days later. My truck was scheduled for build on the 19th of this month. So it was less than a month from when I ordered it when it was built. I guess they are picking up the pace a little bit.

I ordered my mega cab laramie on Feb. 22. I was given a call from the dealer and it was shipped on the 15th of may. He called me the other day and it has a arrival date of June the 8th. It has taken forever it seems like. And the bad thing is, I sold my 2002 ram about a month ago and for the past month, I have drove around in a honda civic. ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!!!!

you think the hondas bad,I sold my 03 a month ago and been using my friends 98 Powerpuke.

I have got 1000 miles on mine now. Just be patient and It will be here. Did the dealer say why It has taken so long for your truck to come In.

The dealer said that when I placed my order DC had already reached there mega cab orders for that month so I was waiting till the following and with o% at the time there were a lot of orders.

Two different time a dealer ____ me after I order a PU at close to their cost. Once it fell of their rack and the other time the railroad screw it up. Please dont let the dealers do that to you. What they are doing is getting it on their lot and selling it at retail or trading it to another dealer. Oh well thats how they make $$

The dealer Is pulling your leg I would say

You can contack Chrysler and find out the problem. Go somewhere else and buy a truck. They may have sold your truck to someone else or want to get out of the deal they made you. They can find a truck from a other dealer If they wanted to.
