As was posted earlier the Summer Roundup will be held at Timberline Dodge in Portland,Or July 15th. Tom King, who is the Portland Chapter director is setting up this event. I would like to see a Show and Shine as well but he is unable to do this on his own. We as NW TDR members will need to organize this portion of the Summer Roundup. I need to know who would be willing to participate in the event plus help out ie judging. Also to make this a two day event a cruise around Mt Hood could be done on July 16th. Help is needed for this as far as mapping a route, locating rest areas, etc. Its not to early to start planning. This should be put in the TDR issue if the response and desire is there. Post on this site or email me. Thanks and lets get something going.

Thank Rob. This is an annual event that Timberline puts on. Also, the NW Cummins Power Boosters and the Viper Club participate. I would like to name a time and place for a planning meeting for both of these outings. The place will depend on the member responses and the most central location of the members. I cannot and will not do this myself. So lets get the cobwebs knocked off and do some planning. With our location we could put on event in the future comparable to May Madness. At least this is a start. I know of a minimum of 30 TDR members alone in Oregon. So lets do it.

Hi Mike
We would be glad to help in anyway we can.

I'm a new member and would love to help in anyway possible. I live about 75 miles north of Portland. My small town will be having a yearly "festival" that weekend. My wife has to work on that. If I (we) can't make it for Saturday, surely we could for the Sunday event. Even if I can't make it on Saturday, let me know what I CAN DO to make it easier. I am willing! Jim

Well the rally is in the planning stage. The show and shine still needs some work but it sounds like we will have both of these events. BTW,Teacher go ahead and email Mike. Hes expecting you to contact him. Any onr else want to help?

I should be on vacation July 15th. I wonder if the wife would have objections to staying a weekend near the Oregon Coast then #ad
I have no idea what our vacation will be, though. I wanted to go to South Dakota... Oh, well.

Mike,
