Gasser/Chevy Help... broken Distributor gear???

Doc,

You might know more about this than me. I was dipping my oreo's in milk last night and noticed something strange. I remember when I used to dip them they didn't absorb as much milk as fast as they do now. Now you dip them for about 3 seconds and they fall completly to mush. Did they change the formulation to allow for less material to rip us off? Could it be a conspiracy to get us not to buy milk or Oreo's? Is JFK still alive?

The way the cookie crumbles!

Just like our Dodges - - More air - less wheat - air is cheep. Soaks liquid like a sponge!

Still can't sleep at night if there are any in the house!!!!!!!!

Denny

Nah you all got it wrong. When you were young, time took for ever and you pulled them out sooner. Now that you are older,

you forget that you are dunking oreo's. When you remember, it's too late.

next generation

of oreo dippers have developed a new style. My 14 year old son foregoes all the dunking and just puts 2-3 cookies in his glass of milk. Drink, eat, and get a spoon to get the last soggy crumb... ... ... ... .

I'm with gatoram's son... . I love 'cookie stew'... it's great!

Recipe:

Fill large (16oz) glass with Oreo's or even better... Mom's choc-chip cookies right out of the oven... . and fill 'er up with milk... . get out a table spoon and enjoy!

Serves one - usually a big fat happy dude (me)

I used to do with graham crakers what Gatoram's kids do today with the Oreos.

Yes, CPH, I do believe I have the answer. America has turned health concious. Oreos used to be much better too. Just like McDonalds french fries, the Oreo cookie has begun it's spiral into forgotten history. The problem is the LARD, or the lack thereof. Or should I say the reduction in animal fat.

Animal fat does not desolve in milk.

For centuries mankind has relied upon animal fat to flavor and richen food. One day a government funded scientist got a hair and decided that fat wasn't good. It was good enough for thousands of generations of our ancestors, but noooo. . not good for us.

Anyway - As usual, I'm probably wrong :)

Does anyone know if LornaDoones still have fat in them? I think they still taste the same.

Doc

Forget the milk, illflem! Give me the lard! My sister used to eat lard straight from the can and she was and still is skinny. :{

I was just thinking that the problem with Oreos might really be in the milk. All the chemicals might be breaking down the lard that is still in the cookies.

Do you get the idea that I really don't know what I am talking about?

Maybe lard is making it so I can't think about what I thought.

Doc

1. Put 12 oreos in a cerial bowl.

2. Pour in milk to cover the oreos.

3. Get a spoon bigger than your wife thinks is appropriate.

4. Sit down in front of the TV. (History channel)

5. Shut up.

Any questions???
