Osceola, WI Pull Sept 8th

I know this is the MN area, but I am close enough. Anyway it is that time again for our local truck pull. Many that know me know we have a great time, and again we shall this year. This years pull is on Friday night Sept 8th at 7pm, 8000lbs diesel class and again it is run what you brung. So you know how that goes... ..... although no weights up front, weight can be added in the box. This will be the last year that we will not require driveshaft loops, next year they will be required.

With this year some things have come up and I may end up running the pull, so I will not have the keg in the back of the truck this year, but will have one waiting on ice at the house where we all can meet up afterwards. As always my home is open to anyone that wants to come over and crash or just party with us. It is always fun to meet new people and see old friends.

Osceola is not that big and the pull is on the east side of hwy 35 just north town. Registration begins at 5pm, I think, and is 25 bucks, spectators are 5. 00 and if you know me well... ..... we just work around things. Hope to see some of you guys there.

I plan on being there! I don't know what I'll be driving at that point... . as I have a coolant/cooling issue with my Caprice, the Benz has no spark, and well the truck has... . problems.



Unfortunatly... that may leave me with the bike... . ya ya ya... laugh all you want... but right now that's my ONLY transportation... .

Some things have come up that have me on reserve this year for the after party, my grandfather is on his last days. I would expect him to pass any day now. By no means do I not want you guys to go and not have fun, but the after party maybe not like it was in the past. I am probably not going to grab a keg this year at all. So if by chance my grandfather hangs on over this weekend please bring what you like to drink... ..... I will. I will keep you guys up to date. Sorry Jim.

It doesn't look like much, but those who I have talked to say it's plenty strong.

Rain has happend, just cold here, highs tomorrow of 60 and lows in the 30's 40's... ... ... ... trucks run good in the cold... ... ..... lol.

It is that small... ... ... lol. If you are coming from Forest lake take 97 to Hwy 95 and make a left and head N a few miles about 9 if I remember right. Turn right on Hwy 243 and at the next stop you are in Osceola. Take a left and go right down main street. After you see Subway look to your right and you will see some side streets. We are back there, it is at Oakey Park. We will be in the pits, and the wife will be over at the food booth working. My truck will be there by 2pm park in its usaul spot and I won't get there till 6:30pm because I am dropping the kids off in Lakeville.

I won't make it guys. I'm sorry. There are a few reasons. First off, I am stuck at work tonight for vacation coverage. Second, my truck is still down for upgrades. Matt, don't feel bad. I too am stuck with a bike for now. I am really beginning to miss my truck.

Good thing though, I've spent probably 1/4 what I normally would on fuel. So I can't somplain too much.

You guys, tear up the competition and make us proud!

I couldn't make it, had to work late, but I just got home (about five miles south of town, and a little east of 35) and I have heard at least two high speed diesel powered runs to my west. Any one want to fess up? :-laf Hope you guys had a good time.
