i am on my second 6. 7 in under six months. i love the truck but i hate not being able to build a go fast truck out of it. i hate the DPF system. i lemoned my first 6. 7 because i had so many problems with the DPF and the exhaust brake. they put two turbos on that truck, one was hand delivered by Cummins. both of them got crap fuel mileage, both the the trucks are totally different. but i again i love the one i have but i miss the 5. 9
 
The guys that are reportedly making rude comments about 6. 7 liter Cummins engines are probably the same guys who have bought 6. 0 and/or 6. 4 Fords. Their opinions are not worthy of my time to read them.

There has bin some 6. 4 burned up on I64. We can say we did not have 77 recalls on ares like the 6. 0 had. Thay could not fix it so thay tryed again with the 6. 4 . Now they need to try to fix the 6. 4!!!

Loc: Orange County, CA I live for the day I can get 10mpg!! With my camper on the truck I average 7mpg. I also got the latest reflash a couple weeks ago. Bumped it up to 8 for a couple tanks then back down to 7 again. With bad head winds I'll drop to 5mpg's! I remember another member saying his PCM was replaced and that seemed to boost his mpg's. I haven't seen a follow up from that thread to know if it's held up or not. Look for me at all the local diesel pumps. Good luck.
