I have two issues with my brakes on my 96. The ABS and Brake lights are on full time now on the dash. The sensor in the rear diff has been changed and all that was gone through. It used to be on and off intermittent, but now is on full time.

Also and unrelated, I get an occassional shudder like my disks are warped. It seems to be mid pedal, not usualy with slight pedal pressure. It gets worse at the far end of my afternoon stop and go commute and seems to be more pronounced in hot weather. I almost never feel it in the morning.

I would be sure my rotors were warped (I know I overheated my left front a few months back, rotors and pads have less then 25k,) but it comes and goes.

IF they are warped just a little bit, the hotter they get, the more they grow. Especially if they were manufactured wrong.

Clean the rear sensor. If it has debris on it, your light will show. Otherwise check all the wires, especially the ground wire. Don't forget to put a little grease on the o-ring to help it seal out moisture.
