Other Toilets

[Doc Tinker]

We have the standard toilet in our new Jayco and I'm not happy with it. When I do some reading, I like to be comfortable, so I can make it last a long time. The seat on my factory toilet is too small (and my butt isn't big either) and it's too low, so my knees feel like they are hitting my chin.



I see there are several replacement toilets available and I'd like some input on what you have, that might be more to my liking.

Do what I did to my RV toilet, I put a conventional seat on it and also a 6 " lift kit too, the seat is much more comfie and my nads dont dangle in the water no more ... ... ... ... ... ... Kevin

Another thing I did was to installe the type of seat that is open in the front instead of the old 360 style, this way with the opening in the front whenever I get wood I dont get it wedged between the turlet and the seat :{ :{

any rv dealer or camping world [made by tiford i think ?] should have them in stock or can order well worth the time ,effort and money to install

Larry, thats why I went with the open front seat , the last time I used a 360 seater and got a woodgie I had to wait almost an hour for the swelling to go down so I could get un-woodgied
