Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Ottomind adjustment?

My previous truck was a '92 and I keep thinking of questions regarding my 2nd generation ('97). I will eventually go with 4k gsk, AFC springs, a 4'' exhaust, and possibly a #10 plate, and maybe a turbo upgrade, per recommendations from the posts that I have read. I pull a 10k 5th wheel.



1. Can the Ottomind plate be advanced 0. 020 to 0. 030" for more power like the #10 plate?



2. Is there any difference in performance from plates produced by TST vs Piers vs anyone else (ie, is a #10 plate the same whomever you purchase it from)?

All 10's are the same. That is a TST design that many sell. I don't care for the profile(power curve) of the Banks plates. Any plate can be slid,but it will not be the same as a different profile such as the 10.
