If'n 'ya cain't DODGE it..... RAM it.

Hope the other driver's are OK. :(

Q:What does it take to beat "Baddest" GM 4X4?

A: 1 Dodge truck

"A few car lengths later, the Hummer smashed head-on into a Dodge Ram pickup. "That ended it," Davis said. "

Says it all, doesn't it?:D :D

I'd say he's got good insurance too. It's a good thing, because I bet he gets his butt SUED.

If I had been driving that Hummer, they'd have made an EXAMPLE out of me! Can you say "under the jail?" I knew you could!

Shovelhead - that's very clever. Did you just make that up? Ditto on the feelings for the drivers.

Yeah, but it took 4 other cars, including a delivery van, to slow it down to where the Dodge could handle it :D

Besides, it's not a GM, it just has a GM drivetrain.

Notice that the cab on the Dodge is intact! I wonder how the all mighty TUNDRA would have faired against the Hummer?:p

I hate to burst any bubbles, buuutttt, that isnt the real Hummer. It is the H2 hummer, based on the Chebby truck platform. So, it could be said that the Dodge whooped up on the Chevy. I know Chevy owns Hummer now, but , the new H2 hummer isnt the military spec one we are used to seeing over the years. This one is the sissyfied version, for all the wannabe Hummer owners, who just want people to think they drive a real HumVee.

What a shame, That was a perfectly good truck. The Ram looks like it faired the crash much better around the cab than the H2 :{ Talk about a little :-{} after that one

yep, the H2 is nothing but a 1/2 ton Chevy with a "COOL" wrapper

I guess I didn't see the H2 when I read the thread title, otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned the Hummer in place of the H2. I, too, would like to see Ram 3500 vs REAL Hummer! :)

I got a good look at the new H2, and it is pretty cool. The guy said that it costed 50 grand, and only got 10 MPG. (and they think the Excursion is bad  )

Ram 3500 VS a real Hummer. . That would be a good one. I am willing to bet the Hummer would be a lot more repairable than the Ram. The Hummer body is one piece, and it bolts to the frame. There is no body work needed if the frame is still straight. Just unbolt the damaged one, and bolt on a new body. Add a new fiberglass hood, and its good as new. It looks like the H2 would be more expensive to repair than the Ram.

I thinking about what you get for what you pay (not you get what you pay for) and PT Barnum comes to mind. Say, maybe that's where DC got the name for the cruiser.

You guys missed the best part. The guy driving the H2 is the owner of the largest Dodge dealer in Alaska. His dealership also sells Hummers, including the H2. He did have some medical problems, seziure or ??, that caused the accident. Mr. Udd is a very nice guy and actually took the time to come and say "hi" when I bought my truck.

As for the worthness of the H2, I would read the article in this months Four Wheeler mag. Next to the Jeep Rubicon, the H2 is probably the best stock 4x4 vechicle out there. They did the rubicon with it and had very few problems and no damage.
