The second truck was one of the 10(counting Dougs) diesels who dynoed that day. His truck had one of the Banks packages on with the High Ram addition. There were other trucks that made more hp and torque than him and did not get noticed.

Thats what I wanted to see was more dyno runs from diesels there. Carlisle promotions were not going to allow us to spin this year as they have not in the past. It took MANY emails back and forth and some phone calls between myself and Dynotek to make it happen. They(Carlisle) had a bad experience a few years ago with the truck show when they brought the Dynotek group in for it and only 3 trucks spun all weekend long. BUT,this was the truck show it rained on most of the weekend also. They also had concerns for saftey and I'd still believe they did not want to see us dyno as they claimed there was no interest in High HP/TQ diesels. The Dynotek owner has already confirmed for me he WILL have the big program with him next year and wants to see more of us flog the roller. Heck he had more fun than than us with what happened. The gentleman who owned the big inch blown Cuda was a friend of Dynoteks and after Doug ran he collected a refund and parked his car back in the show field saying he was not wasting his time or motor because he knew he could not compete.
It was too bad I could not get any more of the east coast heavy hitters for this show. Sleddy was DOA and I got NO response from the post I put up for the show, except for those M-D members who attended, along with a few other TDR members who were there for the car show. I am going to got at next year harder and get the TDR a club tent for those who wish to attend, club challenge was and has been won by the N. E. O. H. A every year and it would not take many trucks to do it. it It would be nice to drag that trophy home for the 13,000+ TDR members here and to show the NEOHA they are not all that.
Next year gang,it will be gasser clobberin time and maybe we can trip the Hemi owners off the club challenge monoply pole. I'll be there, but, then again,I am always there. Ask those TDR members who were there,it is the best all Mopar show going,period..... Andy
P. S. -Bob Stone, the photograher who did the pics for the dyno challenge, gathered the info for the challenge and may have not understood what Doug told him. Doug has and still uses the VP44 pump on the slick black bottle rocket. By the way. I've known Stoney a long time,we go way back with Division 1 points races, and he NEVER moved as fast as he did that day when Doug whacked the loud pedal and sent him sailing to evade the plume. You had to be there to hear Stoneys comments,he had us all in tears.....
