"Please be aware of a problem with Ford Power Stroke Turbo Diesel trucks. The Northern Rockies area has recently had major repairs done to two of these Ford trucks due to a failure with the air cleaner system. The air cleaner box is allowing dirt to bypass the air filter and enter the engine. This has happened on two 2001 Fords in the Wyoming area. Ford is refusing to warranty

We are an oil-field production service company, and our guys spend a majority of their time on (really rough) dirt roads. With most of them driving about 55,000 miles a year, we are probably out of the Furd warranty anyway on an '01.
Many of our guys drive CTDs also. No bulletins out for those, though.
