When my soon-to-be bride bought me that movie on DVD for XMas (she had never seen it before... ) and LOVED it after watching it with me - I was further affirmed that she was 'the one'. She also loves Animal House - another one of my favorites.



The original Blues Brothers is without a doubt my absolute favorite movie.



Matt - took several film classes in college and was disappointed that some of the 'classics' weren't screened, reviewed and discussed. :{ :-laf

Grizz, chill man. I am a spiritual man myself, and I do not find it offensive. Its actually quite funny if you ask me. God has a sense of humor remember, he did create us! :-laf On a side note, I have never understood the facination that the catholics have with the crucifix. Jesus doesnt hang on the cross anymore, he got off of that a LONG time ago, so why do they still put him on the cross? The whole point of him dieing, going to hell, and then back agin to heaven is the all based around forgiving our sins, and that they be left on the cross with Jesus blood, and that when he was taken down, and went to hell, our sins where cleansed. He then was raised to heaven, free of sin, free of the cross. I guess I just have an issue with the Crucifix myself, as I do not find it biblically correct. I find it Every church I have gone too has the Cross alone, and "Jesus free" of it, as it truely is the way it is... So why does the Catholic religion still strap him on it for all thier statues? Just curious... . (sorry, didnt mean to get off-topic)

I am Catholic and I take my belief very serious. I don't suppose there is any point in me trying to educate you or others, so I will just let it be and not make an issue of this. We are all intitled to our own belief and opinion.

I totally respect your beliefs, dont get me wrong. As I find using the Lords name in vain as offensive, but something like the above, personally, I find humorus I guess. I wasnt trying to offend you, if you took it that way. I actually very much so enjoy religious discussions. I grew up Lutheran, and converted to Evengelical Free. E-free is not much different than Baptist if you are wondering. If you dont want to discuss this in the open, then PM me, as I have always been curious to why Catholics are the only one that still has Jesus on the Cross. Not wanting to debate, just want to learn... thats all.
