The outside air temp is not working on my truck. I checked under the hood, and the wiring that plugs in to the sensor were frayed.

I need at least a new connecter (ideally with wires on it so I can connect it to the wiring in place). I may also need a new sensor.

Any suggestions on where I can buy these items?

The dealers have a web site with many connectors and pigtails

Or try pick a part type wrecking yard

The connectors are the same for many models

Sorry, once you get in it is ok.

Use this link first.

Mopar Connector Repair Kit Website

Select year, use 2006 as that is the first year with a picture you can view, choose "DR" for model.

Hit "Pick this vehicle"

Then hit the "go" button, scroll down to "Sensor, Ambient Air Temp".

Select it and the part number/graphic will come up.

Let me know if you have trouble.

Mike.

You may have to download the Adobe SVG Viewer. It may be asking you up top if you want to download it.

If not, try this.....

Look here for the free download.

Adobe - SVG - Manual Download

Scroll down to downloads, then to viewers, then the English install for Win 98-XP.

Only takes a minute or so.

You will need to remove ActiveX filtering, the blue Icon in the address Bar, change form blue to Gray IE9.

Good suggestion TC, that is probably just what is happening to some of them.

I forget that this Laptop is kept current due to all of the various sites that I use daily in the course of doing business.

I have to download Active X controls and various viewers daily just to keep up.
