out of fuel

I am wondering if I run out of fuel how do I get the truck running again. The truck is a 2004

Check the owner's manual. The 3rd gen fuel system is self priming and should not be a problem, but running out of fuel should be avoided as much as possible.

Put fuel in the tank. Then its just like changing the fuel filter. Turn the key to bump the starter and leave the key in the on postion for 30 seconds, do that twice and it should start right up if not then do it one more time.

ouch. you might want to dump a good amount of lubricating additive like howes or powerservice to that 1st tank after you ran out.
