out pulled a ford and didn't even know it

a funny thing happend on the way back from Everett. I was helpng a friend get his wifes Buick park avenue back home after it had something electrical fail. at the east end of the Hewitt ave. tressel there is a 7% grade. I hit the bottom at 45mph and hit the gas just to see how it's pulling. over the top at 50mph and climbing. my friend was following me with his 97 ford diesel. I walked away from him!!

Did I mention that I was towing the buick?





in jest, he said ' that truck of yours really pisses me off' as he is shaking his head.

I've been telling him that he needs to warm that ford up for a long time. i think he will now.

I should add that I was not trying to show off, or be a smart a#s. I was not trying to make my friend look bad or feel bad. I didn't even know he was having such a hard time trying to keep up.

I bombed my truck so it would be more fun to drive. if i want to race i have machines in the back yard for that.
