OUTCH!!!

My Duramax\Allison 2500hd Crew 4x4 is in the shop having the transmission replaced after only 500 miles. No hauling and no offroad action. Just one bad transmission.
All the gears were gone accept reverse. Do any of the GM guys on this site have any good explanation? I'm not feeling real good about this $40,000 investment.
