Okay guys when i got my truck almost 3 weeks ago, it has no moulding, the truck had been primered and repainted a silver color, and the truck is a LE model, where the cab rolls toward the truck bed there are 2 holes on each side and well i didn't realize it but it goes straight into the inside of the cab, well i washed the salt off today and thought well i will flush this out. .

Well i started seeing water build up at the end of the moulding that holds the carpet down... i have a guy that has a truck like mine but not sure about the moulding, if i can't get it there, is there a place where i can order it, im guessing with the dealer its expensive or discontiued...

okay, i know their really low, the holes if your looking inside the truck are below the factory radio speakers... i know its a square piece oh say 3-4 inches long might be a bit shorter.

Wyatt, Those two holes are for the LE emblem. Thanks Steve B.

I think he's talking about the holes for the trim, not the emblem, the emblem is higher, the holes are down at the lower body line, where the 2 colors would meet if it was a 2tone truck.

i may have found those pieces, their on a 90 model won't know for sure until i go tomorrow as im getting the tag light lenses of that truck and if the moulding will work the guy that owns the truck told me we would work something out for the moulding, so i feel alot better knowing that now... .

thanks again for all of you guy's help. .

The 90 moulding is different. You will need 91-up. The LE is held on with two-sided tape up near the window line. You should also have two holes on each side on the front fenders below the marker lights for the front piece of mouldning. The wheelwell trim has two holes for clips near the bottom of the wheel opening and then screws on the inner lip and tape for the top. The rest of the side trim is held on with the tape.

Travis. .

where would one find that moulding, these trucks arent' just sitting in junk yards. . would any of you guys know a place other than the dealer that might have it. .

And would the interior moulding fit, the a-pillar trim and such that goes across the top of windshield

I know that I was able to buy one piece at the dealer about 2 years ago, you might want to check there, if not a body shop might be able to order it, or a wrecking yard.

yeah i thought about checking with the dealer where i purchased my '00, i may have to get some plugs to put in those holes to keep out ice, snow and the waterhose water LOL

no harm done, better to have a member at least try to help me out... i will get it worked out, probably have to go through the dealer, i have the sticker out of the glove box that has the codes for paint etc, on it, so i should be in good shape.
