What is the purpose of this? Bully Dog says it is compatible with most aftermarket boxes, is it a controller or just another fancy set of gauges?

it is basically a fancy set of gauges, but it can defuel any engine by telling the ecm boost is low... ie: egt gets too hot, and boost actual is 35lbs, bullydog monitor tells ecm boost is dropping to say 25lbs and ecm will defuel to limit smoke, and defueling will limit egt



it works something like i stated. . i am going by memory as to how i read how it worked

nickleinonen is right, the Outlook also does all the folowing for the Dodge trucks:



Adjust speedo for tire size(the Outlook speedo not the stock dodge one)

Boost PSI

EGT

Speed

RPM

ICP pressure

Check HP and Torque in a 1/4er mile run

0-60Times

Record and display highest EGT and Boost

Record and display highest HP and Torque



Pretty technically advanced etc. Give us a call if you have any questions etc.
