Outnumbered

I was camping 2 weeks ago and was with 3 other couples who all had Duramaxs. Was talking with one of the guys about guages and after market power enhancements. He had been using some kind of chip and driving blindly w/o guages. I explained to him that he may want to install them. He responded "it is under warranty". I said if you come in with a melted piston I doubt it will be covered.

We moved on to bhaf which I explained to him also and when I popped the hood to show him mine he said "Cummins makes a straight six"?

It's okay... . this is the only example I can think of where having six is better than eight :-laf :-laf :-laf Apparently we all have piston envy!!!

EMD engines... . v-12, 16 or 20 cylinder... . depending on the unit. and it would take 2 of your 350s just to equal the displacement on ONE of those cylinders on a smaller one (645).



Then I go on to tell them that the unit weight was usually around 300-400k pounds... ... . each. :-laf :-laf
