Can someone fill me in on how the outlook monitor controls the engine?

Does it control the map sensor signal to control boost and fuel?

The bullydog's website says it will work with other modules so I thinking if this will give on the fly power levels once you load in the highest smarty program you need.

Im trying this as we speak on my 2005 Dodge Ram . The outlook monitor I have only plugs into the map sensor. It allows me to go from 0x 25x 50x 75x 100x power levels. There are 4 power levels on the screen.

I will play around with it some and get back to all

I spoke with Bully Dog a while back on this same topic. They told me that the outlook monitor works with whatever downloaded program you are running and only de-fuels. This concerned me as I don't want to get into a lean condition when my foot is in it.

I was also told it is best to just download whatever power level you feel comfortable with and always run at 100 percent of that program. There advertising is a little misleading. With that said I still like their product and plan to stack it with a in cab controler like TST.

The Outlook will try and choke the truck down by feading a goofy signal to the MAP sensor. I guess it could work it or it could make the truck run ugly?

The Commander will not control the Smarty or any other downloader for that matter. Just plug in modules that are made to be changed on the fly.
